Sanquhar gloves for @QueenOfStitches

These customised Sanquhar gloves are based on a vintage Patons and Baldwins pattern, number 87, believed to be from the 1940’s. The suggested 3 ply yarn has been substituted with  Jamieson and Smith 2 ply Shetland lace yarn and modern 1.75mm steel needles from Hiya Hiya have been used to achieve the desired tension/size.  Sadly not mine, they have been made for someone who appreciates  hand made items.  I have learnt such a lot making them and beginning to work on my own designs.
