Personalised Sanquhar progress – right hand almost done

The right hand of the P&B  pattern number 87 is well under way.  The J&S 2ply Shetland has good stitch definition and the gusset and finger ends incorporate the traditional salt and pepper stitch.  This was omitted on the alpaca pair as it was barely visible. The P&B pattern has more stitches in the palm/hand area than the People’s Friend pattern and knitting up to be suitable for an average sized hand when knitted in J&S yarn.
